DXF - Drawing Interchange Format or Drawing Exchange Format is a CAD data file format developed by Autodesk for enabling data interoperability between AutoCAD and other programs.
DWG is a format used for storing two and three dimensional design data and metadata. It is the native format for AutoCAD and DWG is supported non-natively by many other CAD applications.
